Had prior amazing experience years ago with my son and my daughter who had wisdom teeth extracted - as adults! Amazing. Calling on him now for oral surgery for myself. Highly highly recommend!!!

Dr Barry Hothersall is a DMD and a Great Dentist, gentle and sturdy injects enough anesthesia with very little discomfort. He to be remove teeth with any pain or pull a little on your jaw, not like many other doctors. He charges very reasonably also does bone graph on your jaw, places the post for permanent teeth if needed. He was recommended to me by another wonderful dentist Dr Raúl Ortiz, DMD PA at SRQ Endodontics on So Tamiami Trail, Sarasota , FL. He does the same things but has a little bit higher cost due to where his office is located. He knows I am retired and I live on a limited budget so he referred me to Dr Hothersall…I am working with another doctor who was recommended by Dr Hothersall, Dr Craig P Georgiades, DMD (he is on the same complex as Dr Hothersall) who places the crown on the post Dr Hothersall will place to make some permanent teeth to attach the bridge… I am Very Happy with all 3 of my dentists and HIGHLY Recommend Them!!!!🥰🥰🥰

Dr. Hothersall was able to give us answers and a course of action to help my mother, with an ongoing issue she has with her jaw. Without getting too detailed, it's a serious issue and we really appreciate that he was so responsive, getting her in quickly and taking the time to diagnose her rare condition (even showing us images from his medical book). It's been overwhelming not knowing...now we are feeling more at ease under his care, and his lovely staff. Thank you all for your kindness and care!

After not having been to the dentist in 10 years, I arrived petrified and in need of a dental extraction of a tooth that was horribly infected. Dr. Hothersall made me feel at ease by explaining all steps he was taking and before I knew it...it was over. The pain was not nearly that of what I have experienced in the past and needling after was minimal. Staff was kind and understanding and did their very best to set my mind at ease. I would see Dr. Hothersall again for any oral surgeon needs. Finally. An oral surgeon with a gentle touch. Very impressed. Thank you Dr. Hothersall 😊

Dr. Hothersall did 2 extractions for an elderly friend. He was calm, kind, and efficient. He was good at explaining the procedure and there were no problems afterwards. He later did an extraction for me of a tooth broken too far down to fix. Very easy, no side effects. Another time when a Dds said I needed an extraction, he did his own X-ray, said the tooth was ok and didn’t need to be removed. An honest doc!
